Lily Rice
Pembrokeshire born.
Picked up Adaptive Skateboarding or/ and WCMX (wheelchair motor cross) at 13 years old in early 2017 at Haverfordwest Skatepark.
Growing up around surfing and skating, after years of having operations for her HSP (Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia), Lily decided to change her version of this into something she could do, finding a sport that she could push her limits and excel in.
Being the first female Adaptive Skater in the UK, Lily since has became World Champion and Eurpeans in her sport, traveling the world regularly attending competitions, promoting WCMX/Adaptive Skateboarding and diversity.
Haverfordwest skatepark has given Lily a new sense of life and freedom, allowing her to meet so many people - “If i didn't have that - the quality of it- I wouldn't be where I am now.”
Influencing hundreds and thousands of people with her determination and courage of skating WCMX.
The idea that nothing can stop her (you) at its core.
“You can do anything you want to, just have to put your mind to it or do it differently”
